LITTLE WATER GUARDIANS
HERO
LITTLE WATER GUARDIANS Water education for ages 5–8
Stories, songs, experiments — and the journey of Drop, a water droplet older than the mountains, who has been a cloud, a river, a snowflake, and a drink of water.

WHAT HAPPENS IN A SESSION
Every session follows the same rhythm, so even the youngest children feel safe and ready:
Arrive · 10 min — Greeting circle and the Water Song. Children settle and meet Drop.
Wonder · 10 min — The story of the day: Drop's Birthday, Drop Goes Up, Drop in the Sky, and four more adventures.
Discover · 15 min — The experiment that matches the story: make a cloud in a jar, watch a puddle disappear, build the hidden river under our feet.
Express · 10 min — Children paint or draw what Drop showed them — the moment that becomes their take-home artwork.
Promise · 5 min — Closing circle. Each child makes one small, real promise to water, and takes their Promise Card home.
TOTAL: 45–50 minutes · Ideal group: 8–20 children · One facilitator, one helper
THE SEVEN STORIES
A full year of sessions, one story at a time — each paired with its own experiment:

(Full session scripts and materials lists are provided to facilitators with booking.)
WHAT CHILDREN TAKE HOME
-
Their own artwork from the session
-
A Promise Card with their water promise written in their own words
-
A Drop sticker (or a hand-drawn star from the facilitator)
-
The story — retold at the dinner table, which is where the real education happens
WHAT SCHOOLS RECEIVE
-
Session plans mapped to the story of your choice
-
Facilitator notes and materials list (all household items, under €15 per session)
-
The take-home materials template
-
A one-page note to parents explaining what their child learned
HOW CHILDREN CHANGE
Eight in ten children leave our workshops with a water promise they take home to their families. In this track, the promise is small and real: turn off the tap while brushing teeth, tell one person what Drop taught you, pick up one piece of litter.
